The entire unit undergoes pre-calibration and matching between the main unit, electronic sensors, and smart terminals at the factory. The device is natively compatible with mainstream IoT wireless communication protocols such as Mesh and LoRa. It can transmit collected line operation data back to a remote distribution station platform and also act as a power IoT gateway for overhead distribution lines, aggregating data from other nearby smart sensor terminals for edge computing. Relying on local algorithms, it performs fault identification and on-site handling decisions, eliminating the need for entirely backend commands. This shortens the time for locating and isolating faults in overhead lines, effectively improving the power supply reliability of the entire distribution network.
