JUCEG outdoor AC disconnect switches are designed for no-load current switching in high-voltage lines, maintenance of high-voltage busbars and circuit breakers, and electrical isolation of high-voltage circuits. GW4 220kV Outdoor Load Break Isolating Switch boast an advanced structure, exceptional corrosion resistance, convenient operation, safe and reliable performance, and stable electrical and mechanical characteristics. When the main switch is open, a visible insulation distance is provided to ensure compliance with safety requirements. The operating mechanism is available in manual (utilizing CSA mechanism) or electric (utilizing CJ11 mechanism) configurations. The main blade is constructed from copper with thick silver plating on the contacts; connection terminals employ multi-layer conductive flexible connectors; the grounding switch features aluminum alloy conductive tubes with thick silver-plated copper contacts. All exposed steel components undergo hot-dip galvanization or Dacromet coating treatment.

Environmental Conditions

The operating environment of the GW4 220kV Outdoor Load Break Isolating Switch should meet  environmental temperature, the operating temperature should not exceed +40°C or fall below -15°C. During storage and transportation, it can withstand a low temperature of -30°C.The altitude of the installation and usage location should not exceed 1000 meters. The seismic intensity of the installation area should be controlled at 8 degrees or below. At the same time, the wind pressure of the environment where the equipment is located should be ≤ 700 Pa.In addition, this switch is strictly prohibited from being deployed in places with fire and explosion hazards, severe pollution, chemical corrosion, and strong vibration.
