Performance Characteristics

Working Environment Conditions

Transportation:

The factory-issued substations should be filled with 25# (or 45#) transformer oil as indicated by the oil level gauge in the oil tank. During transportation and handling, the substation must not be inverted or flipped, and parts must not be struck, nor should it be subjected to strong vibration.

When the YB6 33kV American Prefabricated Box Substation is being lifted and moved on-site, special attention should be paid. The lifting hook should be attached to the lifting hook of the oil tank, and the lifting should be carried out slowly to avoid damaging the surface paint of the substation with the steel wire rope, and even causing the center of gravity of the entire substation to shift, tilt, or fall.

Installation:

When the substation is installed on-site, attention should be paid to the protection of the surface paint of the cabinet. It is not allowed for pressure gauges, oil level gauges, thermometers, handles of plug-in fuses, and insulation bushing elements to collide, have cracks, etc., and the screws should not be loose.

Remove all dust and dirt from the outside of the substation, the inside of the cabinet door, and the surface of the insulation bushing.

Check whether the nameplate data and product certificate of the substation match the order form, and check whether the documents and spare parts are missing according to the packing list.

The civil construction drawings of the substation's cables and incoming/outgoing lines are shown in the figure.

Maintenance:

The factory-issued products have undergone strict assembly and adjustment, and do not need to be disassembled during installation to avoid affecting performance. Maintenance is limited to the following situations:

Conduct a sample analysis of the transformer oil once a year;

If the oil level drops, replenish it promptly. The oil grade should be the same as that in the tank;

After the fuse blows, the cause should be identified, and when replacing the fuse core, pay attention to its specification and model should be the same as the original specification and model.
